  • BINKP Error

    I'm at the tail of configuring FIDONET and I'm getting an error when polling using BINKP. I just received my node address from my RC and trying to finish the config. Not sure if this is stopping areafix sync. This is polling after sending %+ALL to areafix.

    ** -> 3/13 10:41:37a BINKPOLL Peer ended their VER with " (binkp/1.1)" instead of the required " binkp/1.1", but we're assuming binkp 1.1 anyway

    Nothing wrong there, it's just a warning message because the other end
    is using Internet Rex, which is old/obsolete/garbage. The poll should
    have worked normally despite that message. Did you get anything back
    from the hub?

    Looks good. That's just warning about your peer not conforming to the BinkP protocol spec.
