    I recently got Yankee Trader up and running here at ConstructiveChaos. For those that don't know, it's a TradeWars-esque space warfare and trading game.

    The game is notorious for crashing frequently on newer BBSes running on new-ish hardware, therefore it isn't usually found running anywhere. However, thanks to a patched DOSBox of all things, it runs here beautifully crash-free, as confirmed by an expert player.

    (it should be noted that using DOSBox to run doors makes them only single-node capable, but considering Yankee Trader doesn't have strong multiplayer anyway,
    there's really no loss of functionality here)

    And I am now on top, in 1st place on this system.. Just wish there were more turns per day, I used up all my turns in under 2 monutes. :(

    I don't think you'll stay on top very long. :)

    Yeah, I left the settings at their defaults, for the most part. I may consider increasing the number of turns when it comes time to re-init the game.

    One advantage to keeping the number of turns somewhat low, since I'm running YT as a single-node game, is that it means other players don't have to wait as long for someone else to finish taking their turns.
